Hi there, I ran into a serious problem trying to use Powerpoint 2007 in a Vista.hdd on a macbookpro. Here is the screen shot:

and as u can see, even though the Mac OS knows it is using multiple independent displays, the PD display driver does not. It will extend the desktop over two displays, but this is of no help in this case.

Why not use PP 2008 on the mac side u may ask. I wish. I am teaching PP 2007 to a class of traditional PC users. So not sure what to do here. Is there a way to use an nvidea driver in this case that would operate as you would expect? Thanks so much!!!

well, it does to some extent and even has checkboxes in the interface in this regard, but i understand what u mean, i think: the PD display driver running in XP/Vista environment does not support 2 displays being controlled independently - as i did find an option to span the desktop across both screens. anyway, scratch Powerpoint of the usable applications list, as any presentor will tell you, u need Presenter View to be working if you are serious about ur presentation skills. Without it, it's like going back to windows 3.1. cheers!
