I just upgraded from Parallels 3 to Parallels 4 and it went to convert my boot camp partition, and the installation of the Parallels Tools fails. The problem seems to be that it says it has the incorrect driver fro the Realtek RTL8029 (AS), which causes the whole installation to fail. Is anyone else having this problem? I have a 2.2ghz MacBook Pro.

    Thanks!

As a possible solution try this: boot natively into Boot Camp, go to Start => My Computer => Control Panel => Add/remove programs and see if there are any Parallels Tools installations present. Uninstall all and any installations you run across, then boot into Mac again, run Parallels Desktop and try running your VM once again and see if you can install the Tools. You can even consider creating a new Boot Camp-based VM - they take no time at all to create, but provide you with the advantage of having a (relatively) "clean slate" to work with.
