Anyone tried a disk cloner?!
I'm curious if anyone has tried the following approach to resizing a disk...

Start a new VM, create a fresh disk of the size desired.
Attach your old disk as a second drive
Boot a disk copy type of software and copy from the old image to the new?

It seems like it would work. Not that I need to do this but I might in the future. I know there is a way to use partition magic and to do it with diskpart.

But I'm just curious if the above idea might work and what piece of software might do the copy?

I think you can try norton ghost and use the cloning over network. I successfully clone a old P800Mhz Win98SE machine to a VM via network. I think you can do the same. I am not sure if Mac can run mulitple instances of Parallels but I can do it in WinXP.
