Hello. I followed your instructions about how to set up the Boot Camp partition for use as the XP boot device in the new Parallels Desktop Beta.

However, even after following those instructions, whenever I try to start up the BootCamp VM, after entering my username/password, I get a message that says "Unable to open disk image Boot Camp."

Then, when I rebooted my Mac into Windows via the real Boot Camp, my Bluetooth keyboard no longer works at all. I had to hook up a wired keyboard to do anything.

    Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

    thanks

Is your WinXP partition FAT32? That may be the problem...unfortunately, it needs to be NTFS.

If you want to convert your WinXP partition to NTFS(WARNING: Mac OSX cannot write files to NTFS, so if you need to transfer files when in OS X, dont do this), boot into it, Go to Accessories>Command Prompt and type:
    convert (your drive letter): /fs:ntfs

You'll be asked to do it when you restart, select yes then restart and itll do it for you.
