Xorg 7.2 1024x768 on MacBook 13" won't work
Hi,

I'm trying to get Xorg 7.2 working in 1024x768 resolution on a FreeBSD 6.2-STABLE guest.

I tweaked the refresh rates in the Monitor Section in xorg.conf with values I found here: http://goddess-gate.com/dc2/index.php/post/251#x11.

Code:
HorizSync 28-64 VertRefresh 43-60
and put the desired modes (1280x800 and 1024x640) in the Screen section; then (for good measure) I added 1024x640 to the VM's custom resolutions.

When I start X the 1280 resolution works fine, but 1024 is unusable (see attached screenshot). This occurs both in windowed and fullscreen mode. The 1024x640 mode is a standard VESA mode from X.

Maybe someone can provide a working xorg.conf for the 13" MacBook with 1024x640 resolution or a ModeLine for 1024x640, or shed any light on this.

Regards
Oliver
