I have been with Parrallels now for almost 2 years, also doing the upgrade to v4...BUT these problems still plague me after all these time on a DAILY basis:

I need to go to menubar/Geraete/Ordner (German version) deselect the hard drive and select it again for the guest OS to be able to recognize it.
