Transporter fails to install on linux 2.4.21-47.ELsm - Do not see error in log file I am trying to install the linux transporter (parallels-transporter-3844.408728.run) on a linux box running CentOS ??. It gets past the license page, but as it is starting to install it gives the message that an error has occurred and to check /var/log/parallels-transporter-install.log for more information. Doing so yields the following information: [root@mx1 log]# more /var/log/parallels-transporter-install.log 2009-08-20T12:37:59-0700: Installer started. Look at /var/log/parallels-transporter-install.log for more information. I am guessing the error with the "installer-cli", but I do not know what the problem is or where to go from here. The uname on the machine in question yields" [root@mx1 log]# uname -a Linux mx1 2.4.21-47.ELsmp #1 SMP Tue Aug 1 08:47:53 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike |
