Hello! I just upgraded my parallels 4 for mac to the 3846 edition, however, its coherence function doesn't work any more. Whenever I select it from the the Virtual Machine menu for the first time, there is not any change. But if I click it for the second time, the resolution of the VM will become higher that scroll bars come out on the right and at the bottom. I guess that the resolution is to fit the coherence mode but the background won't disappear or become transparent, but I dunno how to solve it. BTW, i just tried a method in another thread "Update to 4.0.3846 = Parallel Tools Problem": 1. In windows click on start -> control panel -> add or remove programs, here uninstall Parallels Tools and kaspersky (Parallels Internet Security) if it is installed. 2. After uninstalling completely click on start -> run and type cmd and click on ok (a black window should pop up on the screen). 3. In the black window type cd c:\windows\system32\drivers and hit the enter button. 4. Now type del prl* and hit the enter button 5. Go to My Computer -> c: -> program files and rename the parallels folder to parallelsold . 6. Restart the virtual machine 7. After the windows is booted install Parallels Tools and then install Kaspersky (Parallels Internet Security) if necessary. I did all of these above, but they seem not to work on my mac. Can any1 help me? Thanks! My OS is 10.5.8 and My Windows is installed in boot camp.
