Coherence and Crystal doesn't work

C&C ist available but does not work under OSX 10.6.2, Parallels 5.0.9310 and Windows 7 Build 7600 as VM

If I try first OSX freezes for about 10 seconds. The view under paralles doesn't change. In parallels log file I found that entries:

A second try changed the view to Coherenece or Crystal but I can't select any application or the desktop. Only in the little preview in the Parallels VM-Selector I can see that something is openend. Parallels log says Coherence is running, but i also found this error:

It says tha the desktopmanager does not start, but the the services "Design" and "Sitzungs-Manager für Desktopfenster-Manager" (uxsms) are started.

I tried a lot: disable Kaspersky and any other service or application that is not essential. Disable aero. De- and reinstall Parallels Tools. But all without success.

So, have anyone an idea?

Found a solution: Kaspersky is the malefactor. I've put Parallels Coherence service to the trusted applications / services an now it works.

Coherence and Crystal grayed out on View Menu

I recently reinstalled my bc disk and under parallels dt 5 and reconfigured parallels. The Windows XP screen works fine now but can't switch into Coherence or Crystal view modes--only Full Screen and Normal. I can't fine anything that addresses this situation in the knowledgebase. Any suggestions?

 

Reinstall Parallels Tools in the Virtual Machine menu.

So how did you do this trust configuration? On the Mac or in the VM?

I can't find anywhere to add a service as trusted.

Please elaborate?

I'm having this same problem. Mac OS Snow Leopard and Windows 7 VM.
