Two Updates without UK support? Dear Parallels-Team, as you are very well aware of, there is differents flavors of your software out there. The one that gets updates and working upgrades, which is the one from the US and the one that doesn't get either, which is the UK version. Even if you are a paying European customer, who did the bad mistake of buying your software in a retail or online-store in his country, there is no update for you, but even worse: Not even do you get information on how and when the updates/upgrade will take place. With the new build of 2.5 and the 3.0 release there is now two Parallels versions which have no support for foreign customers. You can pretty much guess, how this makes your customers feel. Especially, when writing to the support doesn't bring you answers at all. So: When will the 3.0 upgrade be available for the UK version? Will it be possible to use eventually purchased upgrade keys to activate this localized version then? When is the new 2.5 build coming to the UK version? If we UK version-folks don't get the updates in time, you could at least hand out official information or statements about this, and not leave your customers completely on their own! |

Parallels Desktop 3.0 is already available for the UK customers: the current US build 4128 (http://www.parallels.com/load/1) will accept both your UK 2.5 activation key and the US 3.0 upgrade key. Unfortunately there is indeed some delay with releasing localized Parallels Desktop 3.0 versions, but all these versions should become available during this month. |
