Parallels crashed (errors whenever trying to start) so I'm following instructions to remove and reinstall http://kb.parallels.com/en/116992 , but parallels won't uninstall from my Mac. I drag it from the applications folder to the trash and nothing happens (it doesn't go into the trash). I empty the trash anyway (because that's what the instructions say) and then reboot. Parallels persists in the Application folder. How can I uninstall parallels so that I can re-install it?

Never mind...was able to uninstall by going in through finder deleting from there.

    Hi Jeff,

Glad to hear that you fixed it by yourself.

Just in case if you face any issues similar to this, please follow the steps as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/122653
You can remove with PDremove.zip as mentioned in the Knowledge Base article.

    Hi Abdul,

When I execute PDremove.app - it gives an error as below :

The action “Run AppleScript” encountered an error.

Check the action's properties and try running the workflow again.

Please help as I want to remove the trial version of PD 10 and maintain PD 9 version.

    Vek

I got the solution - there was a space in the folder name where this was present. I updated to take out space with _ and it worked.
