    Hello All
I'm running Windows 7 and Windows XP on Mac OSX Macbook Pro Retina, and trying to get either OS to boot to the CD/DVD, but both seem to bypass.
In XP, it at least gives me the option to "press any key to boot from CD/DVD" but then skips to windows startup.
In Win7, i don't get the option at all.
I've verified the following for both OS':
    boot order
CD/DVD has been pointed to either my DVD drive (plugged in via usb) or ISO file (verified to be bootable)

    any suggestions?

Let's start from using ISO file.
Could you go to VM configuration and select the checkbox "Select Boot Device on startup"
Also please make sure that on virtual DVD preferences page a proper path to ISO image specified and "Connected" check box chosen.
    Then start VM.
In BIOS press a number related to CD/DVD drive boot entry.
If VM will not boot, please select "Report a problem" menu item from Parallels menu and share its ID here.
    Thank you.
