for some reason when i try to give more memory in the virtual machine configurations menu, (from 192 to something like 256, even though i cant even do 196) it sais that if i do the virtual machine cannot start and the only option is to click "OK" and i cant save it. my mac has 512 RAM and the manual sias all i have to do is configure it certain way in prefrences and it will be OK, but its already configured that way. (sigh) can anybody tell me what to do? thanks guys.
use less RAM not more best to update to 1 or 2 gb when you can afford it Apple ships a Mac with the minimum RAM to keep the price down I always double up when I get a new machine regards Hugh W
The minimum amount of RAM to run OS X on an Intel Mac, even without Parallels and a Windows VM, is 1 GB, and even then you will have limitations. David
