Purchased Parallels Desktop for Mac Student edition - Key not working

Yesterday I purchased Parallels Desktop for Mac Student edition from my university book store. I followed the directions in the jacket of the software license and have completed the following: 1) go to parallels.com/welcome-student to download the product; 2) purchase Windows 10 separately from Microsoft; installed Parallels and Windows. The problem is my product key is not being accepted as valid and I don't know why. I am currently using Windows through the trial version of Parallels, but I need it to work seamlessly after the trial period. I needed to install ArcGIS through a student license (which is a one time use and cannot be used again if for some reason I need to reinstall ArcGIS on the same computer).

I need my product key explained, fixed, and/or replaced.
