Scanning and repairing drive (C): 100% complete

    I have installed a version of Windows 10, and I had a disk error come up. I ran chkdsk /f /r as mentioned in this article; https://kb.parallels.com/en/120845 and now, over six hours later I am still on this screen.

    Any idea what I shoudl do now as it seems to have stalled.

    Hi Maria,

    I ended up deleting the VM and creating a new one. The odd thing is I installed the VM onto an clean 5TB extenal hard drive, and had run checkdisk on it prior to installing. This happened right after installing the drive and Office.

    After deleting and installing the NW VM, I have no issues (fingers crossed).

    The current working VM has been given a 2047 GB hard drive, and 8192 MB of RAM. I use it almost exclusively for working on Excel spreadheets.
