Hi, at least with Big Sur and iPadOS 14, forwarding the iPad microphone to the Mac is not working. The microphone is activated in Parallels Access on the iPad, but when selecting the "Parallels Access Sound" input device in the System Preferences of the Mac, there is no input signal at all. According to its permissions dialog, Parallels Access has all the access rights it needs. Is this a known issue?
Hi, could you collect the tech report once the issue reproduced please? And post the reports' ID's here. Please check this KB article for more information about the technical report.
Are there any news? I forgot to say that no orange dot is shown on the iPad screen. Normally, iOS always shows an orange dot in the top right corner of the screen if an app accesses the microphone. So Parallels Access does not access it, although it has the permissions to do so. So the error is on the side of the iOS app, because it does not even try to capture the sound input.
After I reinstalled Parallels Access on my iPad, it is not listed anymore under Privacy/Microphone as an app that requests access to the microphone.
