    Hello everybody.
I have a simple question. I searched on the forum and on Parallels documentation but I cannot find an answer.

Please, can someone tell me what is the best practice (reliability and performance) when configuring the disk for the VM? A single (big) file or more files splitted into chuncks of 2 GB?

In my case (I'm using PD since a long time), I have two VMs, each of them own a single hard-disk image of about 300 Gb. But I still don't know if this is the best solution or if it's preferable to split current images.

    Thank you for any advice,

    Kind regards.

A single file is the best way. Do not use splitted disk unless you plan to store it on FAT32 drive, that is obsolete nowadays...
