    Just updated my Parallels installation to the latest release (17.1.3), and it looks like some of the Parallels Tools Kernel Extensions are broken in the latest release.
    I'm running a full suite of macOS guests - ranging from 10.6 through Monterey - and this is what I'm seeing:
    * 10.6 - 10.9 - Parallels kexts appear (?) to be okay, at least superficially. Not 100% sure though.
    * 10.10 - 10.15 - multiple Parallels kexts are failing to load, with signature-related errors. Result: shared folders non-functional; slow screen updates; sluggish mouse movement; etc.
    * Big Sur and Montery - Parellels kexts appear (?) to be okay. Again, not 100% certain though.
    What is clear, is that there are issues for 10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, and 10.15.
    Is anyone else seeing similar, things after updating to 17.1.3?

    This is what I'm seeing, when checking the validity of the Parallels kexts, via 'kextstat':

    $ sudo bash -c 'for f in /Library/Extensions/prl_*.kext ; do printf "\nChecking kext ${f}:\n" ; kextutil -t "${f}" ; done'

    Checking kext/Library/Extensions/prl_eth.kext:
    Diagnostics for /Library/Extensions/prl_eth.kext:
    Code Signing Failure: code signature is invalid
    ERROR: invalid signature for com.parallels.kext.eth, will not load

    Checking kext /Library/Extensions/prl_tg.kext:
    Diagnostics for /Library/Extensions/prl_tg.kext:
    Code Signing Failure: code signature is invalid
    ERROR: invalid signature for com.parallels.kext.tg, will not load

    Checking kext /Library/Extensions/prl_video.kext:
    Diagnostics for /Library/Extensions/prl_video.kext:
    Code Signing Failure: code signature is invalid
    ERROR: invalid signature for com. parallels.kext.video, will not load

    Also of note: After restarting my various macOS VMs, I also tried manually reinstalling Parallels Tools. But that didn't make a difference.

    FYI, downgrading to Parallels 17.1.2 - and updating Parallels Tools within each macOS VM - has resolved the issues. So if anyone else is dealing with these issues, downgrading appears to provide immediate relief.
    Hopefully Parallels' folks will be able to quickly resolve the kext signature issues, and provide a new bug-fix release.

    Running 10.14.6 on the VM and 12.4 host OS, file sharing doesn't work, neither by Shared Folder or drag and drop (which worked brilliantly before).
    @Christopher Nielsen , how do I downgrade?

    Same for me. Guest OS is running but just like there are no VM tools installed. Mouse is slow, no video resolution other than minimal, etc.

    Certainly. Fixing the extensions issue in 17.1.3 would be very much appreciated :O

    There is a workaround for macOS guests: boot into recovery, run terminal and type 'csrutil disable'.
    With disabled SIP all required kexts will be loaded.

    It looks like this issue has been resolved with the latest release, 17.1.4.

    Thanks Parallels folks!

    Hello guys, We have released the Parallels Desktop latest build 17.1.4. We would suggest you upgrade the Parallels Desktop to the latest build and check.
