I have Parallels 3.0 installed on my new iMAC (24 " 2.8 gHz) as well as on my MacBook. Both are running OS 10.5.1 and XP Pro (all up to date). On the iMAC whenever I start Parallels I get this error dialog box:

I can click OK and seem to run fine doing every windoz task that I require; however, it is a pain. So, is this a MAC or Windoz problem?

Of note, the MacBook came pre-configured with Parallels on Mac 10.5; on the iMAC, it was pre-configured on OS 10.4.10 and I upgraded the Mac OS to Leopard. I am not sure if I had the error before I upgraded.

I have the MacFUSE installers for both Tiger and Leopard, but don't know which one to install or uninstall. The error message seems contradictory as I am already running the newest OS

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Burt

    Hello Burt,

Please reinstall MacFUSE for Leopard. Use this link.

    Works for 10.5.2

That link above also worked after I updated to 10.5.2 and got the MacFUSE error.
