Hi there- I'm new to mac and am wanting to install parallels. I understand, however, that I need the Windows software as Parallels does not come with it, only allows it to be enabled. I've had PCs all my life and have "Installation Disks" that came as backups with my windows computers. Can I use these disks to install windows on my mac computer to use with parallels, or do I need to buy a different copy of Windows? I have all of the encryption keys and what-not for my windows still, just not sure if this back-up software has everything on it I'd need. -Sarah
Hello Sarah, Installing OEM software on another machine usually violates the software’s license agreement and may not work with Parallels Desktop for Mac. So you'd better find another installation disk. Best regards, Xenos
