    Hi.

I am thinking about going Parallels Workstation for my development work.

But one of my desktop is a AMD64 running Windows XP Pro x64 as the host operating system.

I can use Microsoft Virtual PC on windows XP pro x64, but that is not fast enough for me.

What are the chances that Parallels workstation will support 64 bit hosts?

    Hallo,

Currently Parallels Server runs on 64-bit hosts. Future Parallels Workstation will be based on it, so it will definitely support 64-bit hosts.

BTW, you can try Parallels Server beta on you Windows x64. http://www.parallels.com/en/download/server/

That is good to know because I have already bought the license :)

Just hoping that a future update will be possible, so I have not wasted the money :)
