I've got parallels mac version 3214 and would like to try a linux distro, mainly for webbrowsing. Can anyone recommend an easy to install distro that works without too much hassle? And no too big to download as I have a slow internet connection. Thanks.

This Linux distro works Now I have been recommended 7.04, which I have downloaded and installed. the only addition I had to make was adding Javascript. Even the Internet connection worked without any tweaking. This is the way to go for me and solves my problem at least temporarily, until I get more ambitious on the Linux side. It's about 650MB, so it takes a while to download. You could also order it on a CD. I have sent you the company name by private message because I don't want to advertise in the Forum. Good luck.
