Does parallels install old DirextX dll's for performance?

I ran the DirectX diag tool, and found:

• Several files (d3d8.dll, d3d9.dll) are old versions, which could cause problems.

I just installed 5600, and the VM is a clean XPSp3 that I setup last night.

Should I reinstall DirectX, or just leave it alone?

 

Ok.. no answers? It looks like I may take one for the team and reinstall DirectX 9.
