I realize several individuals have posted about this issue, but I've tried all suggested solutions and am still unable to run Parallels. I installed the Mac OS X update this morning on my MacBook (2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 GB Memory). After the install, I was unable to access Parallels (Parallels Desktop 3.0) and kept getting a generic message indicating that "The application Parallels Desktop quit unexpectedly."

I already repaired disk permissions and uninstalled Parallels. I then re-installed and repaired disk permissions, but am still unable to run Parallels. I work from home and use a Windows environment for SPSS programming, so must be able to run Parallels. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get Parallels up and running again? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I ran through the uninstall a second time, and now everything appears to be functioning correctly - at least for the interim. When I opened my Virtual Machine, I did receive an error message stating there had been a "fatal error".

Are these types of errors likely to occur with each system upgrade? If so, is there any benefit to the Premium upgrade - increased stability, perhaps?
