    Hey guys,

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I went through exactly as my Parallels Desktop User Manual says, and tried to create a second virtual hard disk, with the exception that I did not split it into 2GB segments, and I made the maximum size 100,000MB (expanding). When I started windows up again it said that it installed new hardware for a second IDE device, but the hard disk did not appear in My Computer. Also, I created the image on an external hard disk.

Is there anything else that needs to be done before I can use the hard disk?

    Thanks,

    Misha

Did you initialize and format the virtual hard drive inside Windows? If you didn't, it won't show up. To initialize hard drive, you need to run Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management inside Windows.
