I've installed Debian 3.1 Sarge in VM on my iMac (20"/2G) Ram. I've bound network to en1 and can reach the VM from Host (nice to run a XTerm from the guest ...).

My network was only stable if I use a MTU of 150. With the standard 1500 my network is hanging and very instable.

Linux Kernel is 2.6.16 but same problem with 2.4.17 from the default debian sarge install ISOs.

    Any suggesions?

(BTW: installing ORACLE XE in guest works fine and very fast - ok, it's slower then my Dual 3 Ghz XEON 4G Ram for my main development system, but a nice way to have my ORACLE stuff on the road until ORACLE brings something for Mac/Intel ... - only minus - I must buy a MBP now ;-))
