    Hi
    This bug has been around for ages now:
    http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=18024

    Basically when you plug in a USB device, a message pops up asking if you would like to connect this device to Windows. Whilst this dialog box is on the screen, the CPU usage jumps up to 50-100% until you click an answer.

    I am using build 5608, but this has been in the last 5 builds or so.

    When will we get a fix for this?

    Thanks
    Kevin

    Do you have any Parallels Desktop panic log, after 5608 update, if yes, you can check actual version from there
    * Archive of /Library/Parallels/bugreports/
    or ~/Library/Parallels/bugreports

    I tried to reproduce, but couldn't therefore I suppose build was not upgraded properly

    hmmm, just a couple of old log files in there. do you think that if I completely uninstall the old one and then reinstall, it will work?
    Thanks for your help

    Build 5624, is for Linux tools, not for USB

    Yes I know, but that doesn't really answer the question, what's the progress on this issue? Is it going to be fixed any time soon?
