    Good evening

Probably someone has a hint or just knows the normal way to use a vpn-connection from the guest os (windows xp) in osx...

The problem is that checkpoint hasn't released theire vpn-1 software for mac osx 10.5. so I'm trying to use the vpn-1 connection I have in windows xp. In windows xp (parallels emulated of course) the connection is working and I try the bridge (??? or whatever you call this...) it to osx.

Is there a way to get this done?

    Thanks a lot!

    Cheers,
    Lukas

    Try to follow guidance bellow:
Well I am not sure it is possible unless you set VM connection to Bridged Ethernet
You need also add new NIC to VM in Host-only, and configure it correctly and set this as default gateway in Mac OS, and you need to set ICS in Windows.

First, thanks for your guidance, unfortunately it's still not working. Probably I did something wrong... below you see what I tried and probably you find the mistake.

    Configuration of the virtual machine:
    2 Network Adaptors,
Network Adaptor 1: Default Adaptor in Bridged Mode
    Network Adaptor 2: Host-Only Mode

In the Virtual Machine (Win XP) it looks like this:
    - Ethernetadaptor LAN-Connection: IP-Adress from the WLAN DHCP-Server; Connected to the Internet
    - Ethernetadaptor LAN-Connection-2: Local IP-Adress like 192.168.x.x
    - Ethernetadaptor xxxxxxxxxxxxxx: IP from my Companys IP-Range (VPN-1-Connection)

I configured ICS for the LAN-Connection Ethernetadaptor
When I try to configure ICS for LAN-Connector-2 Ethernetadaptor, I cann't connect to the VPN anymore....

    Network Configuration in OSX:
    - AirPort (en1) with an IP from the WLAN's DHCP-Server; Connected to the Internet
    - Parallels Host-Guest (en2) with an IP something like 10.37.x.x
    - Parallels NAT (en3) with an IP like 10.211.x.x

I don't have any Network Sharing activated...

ICS should be set onEthernetadaptor xxxxxxxxxxxxxx: IP from my Companys IP-Range (VPN-1-Connection)
and allow connection from Host-Only network
    in MAc set IP for Host-Guest manually 192.168.0.2 /mask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.0.1 dns 192.168.0.1
