Beginning this morning, every time I try to open Parallels, it opens in the "stopped" mode so I have no green button on the right side to press. In other words, I can't open and use my virtual windows.

I have tried uninstalling Parallels and reinstalling, and the problem remains.

    Help!

What? If it opens in a stopped state you normally have the green arrow to the right. Describe things better, please, or provide a screenshot; a picture is worth a thousand words.

Thanks for your reply. I can't make a picture of it. But imagine the white box you get when you first click to open Parallels, but with no buttons on the right side.

That's what I see when I try to open Parallels

Strange, does it show the VM configuration?

Shift+Apple+3 will drop a screenshot on your desktop.

Now Parallels is working again. I don't know why, but it is.

    Hidden Parallels Command Buttons

    Phawleyjr,

When in the initial startuo screen or single windowed mode of Parallels if you can not see the command buttons, click on the small oblong grey button in the upper right hand corner of the window to unhide the buttons.
