    Hey there,

RC2 is fabulous, but with each release I continually hope that I won't get the dreaded "Parallels is switching to VMX Mode" warning.

I've followed instructions elsewhere and installed the vtx-check utility and confirmed that VT-x is available:

"VT-x is supported (reported by CPUID) and can be used"

Am I missing the obvious here?

    My Workstation:
    2.16GHz MBP
    2GB RAM

Aside from that, great product (although Explorer still crashes when trying to access Parallels Shared Folder. :(

I get the same thing. Never saw it before the RC2. Hope they get it fixed.

I got it once on my 13" MacBook as well. Said something about another applicaiton has enabled VT-X and that if it turns off it will cause Parallels to act funky...All I had open was Adium, Mail, Safari and VirtueDesktop.

When I upgraded I also got this message, I simply rebooted my MBP and didn't receive it again.
