Admittedly, this is a BETA/RC support forum, but reading makes me think that _everyone_ has problems with the software.

I'd like to know: Is anyone out there not having any issues?

    How are you using Parallels?

I can tell you my desire, if you're interested:

    1. Be able to hook up a USB enclosure and scan a hard drive for viruses.
    2. Run something like NetStumbler to check for the strength of a wireless signal.
    3. Play the occasional PopCap type game (meaning, nothing that requires a lot of processing power).
    4. Perhaps use Remote Desktop Connection, if it's faster than the Rosetta hampered current one on the Mac side.

Thanks to anyone who can answer!

    Cheers,

    Mike...

    Hi Mike,

Admittedly, I haven't tried everything and every device possible with Parallels, but I now use my MacBook Pro full time for everything including Windows programming. My old PC laptop is now being used as a coffee coaster.

As a programmer, I can attest to the incredible ability of the Parallels folks for working miracles in such short timespans. If something isn't working for you now then just give it a little time and patience and I'm sure the issues will get fixed soon.
