Parallels 3.0 on a Mac Powerbook, 0S 10.5, 4GB RAM, guest OS Win XP SP2.

If someone could help me with this minor mystery, I'd appreciate it...

Why am I getting bunches of mapped drives (see image) in my guest OS?

Apart from one of them (W:), they are all here without any action being taken on my part.

    Thanks,
    Arianna

Go to Configuration Editor Shared Folders - check what folders, and disk are mounted

Under "Share Mac Folders to Windows",

"All Mac disks is selected", plus there are two user-defined folders, "Vista" and "ari_win". So it looke like the ari_win folder is the one that is getting mapped to several different drives at once.

The "Map folders to drive letters" option is also selected.
