Currently, Parallels seems to have the CD/DVD drive on my Macmini defaulting to the Windows O/S but I would prefer that it default to the Mac O/S. That is, when I insert a DVD, for example, I want it to start the DVD application on the Mac. Is there a way to change the setting so this happens automatically? Thanks for any help. James
refer to Parallels Desktop for Mac user guide from http://www.parallels.com/en/download/file/doc/Parallels_Desktop_for_Mac_User_Guide.pdf on page 128
John-- It is not clear to me from the instructions on page 128 how to make the Mac O/S the default for the CD ROM drive. I understand how to switch it manually but the default currently seems to be set to Windows when both Leopard and the virtual system are running. Could you explain further? Thanks. James
Set it enabled but do not check connect at startup, This settings will allow you to set default CD/DVD to be in Mac and when necessary, connect to Windows
