Prior to RC2, I had almost zero problems with networking. The only problem I would experience was when waking up from sleep mode. Now, with RC2, my networking connection on the guest os disconnects several times an hour, but my networking connection on the host is stable. I'm using bridged to airport. Is this a bug with RC2 or is there a workaround. this is really killing my productivity.
RC2 Networking Since using RC2 the host-only networking doesn't work for me anymore. I have host-only networking, and in Sharing I have AIRPORT shared with EN2. Under Windows 2000 I can ping, for example, www.apple.com and the result is correct. If I try to "telnet www.apple.com 80" it times out. Anyone know if something preventing port 80 from working? A preference?
networking... Ok, I'll attribute this to the mac firewall. I opened port 80 and it allows outgoing on 80 now.
