    Hi,

Since a month or so my printing is all messed up. When printing a multi-page document all the pages get printen on one piece of paper. Not side by side but on top of eachother, resulting in a big black mess on the paper.

iMac, 20" 2Ghz 2Gb, OSX 10.4.11 no bootcamp used for parallels
Parallels 3214, printer is HP Laserjet 1300 USB connected directly to computer
    Parallels runs XP sp2

I've tried installing other software to print from to see if it was the accounting app being faulty or windows/parallels
then uninstalled the printer software and reinstalled it. Printing works great, its just that multipage prints get messed up.

    Thank you for helping.

    Marcial

Is printing from mac OS or from PC is normal, probably something with printer itself?

    Hi,

All printing is normal, except from apps running inside parallels. I've installed some additional apps inside parallels (acrobat reader) to test the printing of multi page documents, those were also piled onto one page.
Since printing from my mac apps is normal i do not suspect the printer is faulty.

    Cheers,

I am trying to complete the steps but struggle to find the drivers required for step four:

    4. In the guest OS, no matter what type of printer you have, install either the HP Color
LaserJet 8500 PS, or Apple Color LW 12/660 PS printer driver.

HP is providing downloads but no driver, Apple appears not any software for these old models of printers... Any suggestions where to download?

    That did the trick!

Makes me wonder though: I have been able to print for the past 3 years with the other printer driver and now for some reason it stopped working and required this hack..

Thank you for you quick responses!
