Hi there, I have the following problem. We will use some Imacs' with CAD-Software running Mac OS X.5. Due to company requirements they will be placed in a windows-enviroment using an Exchange-Server for communications. As Entourage only use certain functions of the Exchange-Server, my questions now are: 1) Are there any problems running Outlook under Parallels Desktop while using such complex CAD-software in Mac OS X? 2) Do I have full functionality of Outlook communicationg with the Exchange-Server? We need tasks and notices urgently and these things don't work under Entourage (for example) with such servers? Maybe someone experience on these topics? Thanks, Sachar
As far as using Outlook with CAD... I would normally see no problem with it, as long as you have sufficient RAM in the machinne.. I use my design tools, Visio, IP Softphone and Outlook at the same time just as I would on a "genuine" Windows box. Outlook works exactly the same in Parallels as it would on real hardware. There is no feature difference. Hope this helps.
