Since upgrading to 5608, the screen of the VM does not resize when I change the Parallels window size.

I tried reinstalling tools, and changing the windows video settings, but no go.

I'm running Build 5608 on Leopard 10.5.4 on new iMac 20's. The VM OS is Windows XP SP3 updated to all the latest updates.

    Is this normal?

    Thanks John,

That was it, well at least not enough of the tools.

I had to add Coherence mode support, even though I only want full-screen functionality. Without Coherence, Full-screen mode doesn't fill the screen and allows access to the parallels menu.

Is there a way to lock down preferences?

I've installed the VM on multiple machines in a lab setting so that the VM goes immediately to full screen, and would like to lock it down as much as possible from students messing around.

I did set the keyboard settings at all four keys, but even then it takes less than 5 minutes to go through the keyboard to find the sequence (e.g., while holding down CTL-Option-Shift I can go through the keyboard.) Of course this assumes that the student knows about Parallels, but I'm sure that at least one student will know, find out, and tell everyone else.

So I'm looking for some way to lock permissions into full screen only.

Yes, I did set that, and I also set the keyboard settings at all four keys, but even then it takes less than 5 minutes to go through the keyboard to find the sequence (e.g., while holding down CTL-Option-Shift I can go through the keyboard.) Of course this assumes that the student knows about Parallels, but I'm sure that at least one student will know, find out, and tell everyone else.

Is there anyway to set permissions on the settings?

Yes, I understand , but there is no way to set permissions, as configuration is a simple file
