Hi, I just bought Parallels 3.0 for Mac running OX 10.5.4 to use with my mac mini 2 GHZ / 1GB MEM / 120HD and Windows XP Home Edition. I invested all this money to be able to run a windows program that will allow me to post written articles to article directories. The program is named Article Post Robot (APR).
My problem is that when I try to install the APR software the program fails to install giving an error message stating the screen resolution is too low to run the program.
The screen resolution of my MAC is set at 1024 x 768. I'm using a LACie electron 22 blue 4 monitor. The default screen resolution of windows XP is 935 x 616. I turned off XP and went to Parallels - edit - Virtual Machine - Video - Screen Resolution and set up a - Custom screen resolution 1024 x 768 and checked the box.
When I turn XP back on and try to raise the screen resolution it will not hold and continues to revert back to the default 935 x 616 resolution. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to correct it? If I cannot use this program I have just wasted $400.
Thanks,
pacecom
