numbers pad on keyboard not working

I am running Mac OS X with parallels desktop 3 and XP, i have a new iMac with corded keyboard, when workng in XP the numbers pad does not work, the numbers along the top of the keyboard work, can someone please advise how to get numbers pad working.
the keyboard is the one that came with the iMac.

Try pushing the "clear" key on the keyboard (the key directly above the number 7 on the keypad). That is the equivalent of "num lock" on a Windows keyboard.
