    Hi everyone,

    Mac OS: 10.5.5 (MacBook)
    Parallels v3

I've added three different network adapters and nothing seems to be working. I've enabled internet sharing on my Mac, tried resetting with netsh...nothing.

ipconfig on VM yields something like this:

    Connection-specfic DNS suffix : (it's empty)
    IP Address: 0.0.0.0
    Subnet Mask: 0.0.0.0
Def. Gateway : (it's empty as well)

Has this for each of the three network adapters.

Any help would be much appreciated - I'm really excited to start using Parallels!

The problem is caused by Winsock (TCP/IP protocol configuration) corruption

    1. Open command console in Windows as follows:
click Start - click Run- type in cmd
    2. In command console type in following:
    netsh winsock reset
    3. Restart VM as suggested

I ended up reinstalling the VM and it all works fine now.

Trying the netsh reset gave me an error about netsh.exe not being found or something.

    Thanks for your help. :)
