    Hi

I've just installed the Parallels trial which is using my Boot Camp Windows XP SP3.

Unfortunately Second Life does not seem to work :(

I have checked "Enable DirectX Shaders" in Video section of Configuration Editor.

I also have video memory at 64 mb even though it says recommended up to 16 MB.

The main memory is 521 MB.

Second Life won't even launch, it starts the process then shuts down.

    I am using OS X 10.5.5

Thank you for any assistance you can give.

What errors you can see in Applications and System log on Windows side, and is it working in native Boot Camp, ?
What version of Second Life client Life you are using?

    Hi John

Thank you for your speedy response. Second Life works fine running Windows natively in Boot Camp.

In Windows the only Log I know for information about crashes is that in Dr. Watson and there doesn't appear to be anything for Second Life crash. There was an entry for Fraps, but I have turned off Fraps and it hasn't helped.

    Hi John

You asked for this the first time but I forgot to say.

The version number for Second Life is: 1.20.17.33133

I think this is the most recent.

    Thank you.

Thank you John. I will wait for a future release of Parallels and try it again at that time.

I think that it is very fine indeed :)
