I work in virtual machines only - but I have a Vista desktop and I intend to purchase a new MacBook.

If I can sucessfully move my virtual hard disks currently using Microsoft Virtual PC over to the Mac and Parallels - can I then purchase Parallels for WINDOWS and move my Mac based VM disk image files over to the PC and use them?

If Yes - how is the transport handled?

    Thanks!

Yes, you can migrate Virtual PC to Parallels Desktop
Make sure you upgrade Virtual PC to 7.0.2

Thank John. My question is really Parallels Mac to Windows - can I take my parallels disk files that are on my mac and move them to a Windows machine running the Windows version of Parallels and have it work?

    Thanks!

    Yes, with some details.
In case moving from mac to Windows, you need to run Parallels Image Tool, and convert disk to old format
