I am running Acrobat 7 Pro on a Windows XP guest os and am regularly told:

"Your computer's configuration appears to have changed since the last time the product was activated. To continue using the product, please click OK to activat it again for your new system configuration, or click Cancel to exit".

Anyone else having this type problem?

Also, Zone Alarm Security Suite wants to rescan for virus and spyware every time I restart the guest os.

    Thanks!

I had this same problem, and it's not unique to Parallels. As I understand it, it is a known issue with the their activation mechanism that can be triggered by certain hardware configurations, including RAIDs.

I contacted Adobe Tech Support, and they directed me to a download of something called "2.70 Patch" (as I recall). After I ran the patch, they had to twiddle the activation record for my serial number in their database. SInce then, it's been working without any problems.

BTW, be sure to tell them that it is an installation issue as those are free :)
