Since installing Parallels Desktop, I've noticed that there's a new network adaptor showing up in Apple Remote Desktop with an IP address (10.37.xxx.xxx). Is this perfectly normal?

Is this number still considered to be an intranet? Is it a safe IP number set?

  2. Yes. It's created by PDM for the host only networking. It's a safe IP and it's only local.

Thanks. I am curious how PD arrived at that middle of nowhere IP number.

Do you use an airport, looks like a dhcp assigned address from that maybe?
