Hey, for the longest time, I've been able to resize my HD image by by using the image tool. Then I would resize the partition by mounting the image as a 2nd HD and using DISKPART from the RUN menu, selecting the drive and using the EXTEND command. For some reason, DISKPART is now telling me that the filesystem is not being extended in this procedure. it tells me to use EXTEND FILESYSTEM, which fails. Any idea what has changed in Parallels that this no longer works as before? Or does anyone know a better/easier way to resize the partition so that windows recognizes the full size of the disk image? thanks, Ray
partition resize Vista has a built-in disk management, but for others you may turn help for some reliable software such as Paragon, EASEUS Partition Manager, for server users you may find a solution here: http://www.softpedia.com/reviews/windows/EASEUS-Partition-Manager-Server--Review-92249.shtml
resize partition A wide range of free partition software is available. Be very careful when using any software application which writes to the partition table, the MBR (Master Boot Record), or the boot sector. Always backup your hard drive completely before using any free partition software. If you lose data, you have no one to blame but yourself.
