ctrl+mouse click won't right click (SOLVED)

Just upgraded to the new GA release about 5 minutes ago. Fixed my network driver issues with bootable knoppix distro's (yeah! :) ), but now I can't hold down my ctrl key while clicking the mouse to get a "right" click (windows guest too). :(

    Any ideas?

I'm 4 days into a 6 day class I'm teaching. I may have to downgrade, as no right click is worse for me that no networking in Linux.

Urgent help would be greatly appreciagted.

I'm running build 1848 of the Mac version on a MacBook Pro 17in laptop.

    Thanks,

Shift-ctrl-click is the new default for right clicks, if you upgraded from a BETA. You can change this by going to parallels desktop -> preferences -> hot keys. Note that alt-click and command-click don't seem to work in windows xp (might in linux tho).

Yep. That got it. I don't even remember seeing that choice before in the beta version.

    Thanks for the quick reply

For your information, networking will work under linux if you assign it a static IP address. At least it did for me.

    # ifconfig eth0 your.ip.add.ress netmask 255.your.net.mask

    ex:

    # ifconfig eth0 172.16.64.200 netmask 255.255.0.0
