I was having tremendous trouble getting Bloomberg to let me login. Bloomberg uses a little fingerprint-protected SecuriD card that has a light sensor on it -- you sync it with a blinking dot on your monitor. I turned acceleration down from High to Normal, and the thing worked every time. What do these settings do? Should I keep it on High except when I need to login, or is there very little difference in performance? (MacBook Pro, 2.0 GHz, Win XP as guest)
brianboonstra, Are you sure you are running in VT-x mode? Actually this settings is affect largely software virtualization mode - not VT-x.
Yes, I am running in VT-x mode. I was wondering what high acceleration does, mainly because I hypothesisize that high acceleration alters the timings of that blinking dot.
