After installing PD4.0 I can not remove Parallels Tools 3.0

    After a nail biting install of PD4.0 where it failed to install Parallels Tools on the first attempt; Now that the install is complete, I went into Add Remove Programs and I found that Parallels Tools 3.0.5608 is still listed as being installed. When I tried to uninstall it I received a message saying 'Parallels Tools require that your Windows is running under Virtual Machine. Installation will be stopped.'

    How do I uninstall Parallels Tools 3?

    Maybe try to install new PT over top of 3. Go to VM menu->Install PT.
