Viability of VM created with beta version

Can someone from Parallels please confirm that VM's created with the beta version will work on future beta's and the release version. I know there is no way to give a 100% answer but at least a reasonable assurance that a complicated VM won't have to be trashed going forward.

I'm not from Parallels but people have reported that VM images created in the Mac betas work in Windows/Linux and vice versa. It seems to me that the disk image format is well defined and not likely to change.

 

I assumed as much but just trying to make sure there were not any gotchas coming down the road
