Drag and drop doesn't work with Windows Live Writer?

    I'm trying Parallels and trying to figure out how I can drag and drop a JPG image from my Mac desktop into Windows Live Writer (running on Win XP). When I try the drag and drop motion, I see the cursor change to a green circle and + sign, seemingly indicated that it'll work. But when I release the mouse button, nothing is actually copied or transferred.

    How do I make this work? Thanks in advance. :)

    Please try to reinstall Parallels Tools by going to Virtual Machine -> Reinstall Parallels Tools and reboot your Mac.
    In case it doesn't help please provide more specific issue description:
    Specify Mac OS X version, your Mac model, Parallels Desktop version and build and Windows version and service pack (if any).

    Thanks for the reply, I've reinstalled Parallels tools and rebooted. No change in this behavior noticed.

    I'm on:

    * Mac OS X 10.5.5
    * Parallels Desktop 4.0.3540
    * Windows XP SP3

    Yes, it is.

    But from what I've read elsewhere, drag and drop does *not* work with images and rich content, and nor does copy and paste. Is this true?

    Yes, this is true. Drag'n'Drop supports only files and folders. Copy-Paste supports only text.
